We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst in Philadelphia, PA to support our client. The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for handling customer extract file requests, verifying documentation, conducting testing, and interacting with internal and external stakeholders. This hybrid role requires onsite presence three (3) days per week with two (2) days work-from-home. Candidates must be located within a 40-mile radius of Philadelphia, PA.
This is an 8 month contract-to-hire position requiring U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder status.
WORKSITE: 1901 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, EST
COMPENSATION: $60-$62/hour
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Process customer extract file requests and verify necessary documentation and approval.
Enter extract file requests into the Request System and maintain audit trails.
Conduct balancing and verification of extract file requests.
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on extract platforms as required.
Review and resolve customer inquiries related to billing, setup, and file extractions.
Interact with internal and external stakeholders across multiple departments.
Document customer issues, including over/underpayments and setup discrepancies.
Escalate billing and setup issues to management as needed.
Work closely with Senior Analysts, Leads, and Supervisors to resolve invoice errors.
Identify, track, and report trends and recurring issues, escalating them appropriately.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in billing, finance, operations, or IT.
Healthcare industry experience with knowledge of eligibility, medical claims, pharmacy claims, and lab results.
Experience working with data warehouses and SQL.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
Technical Skills Required:
SQL proficiency for querying and managing data.
Knowledge of self-funded billing and healthcare industry data.
Experience working in a data warehouse environment.
Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
