We are seeking an application designer responsible for designing, maintaining, and managing SSIS and SQL applications to support internal business teams and customers. You will collaborate with IT staff and business stakeholders to develop and optimize ETL packages in a regulated environment, ensuring compliance and data integrity. This role requires a deep understanding of SQL Server scripting, SSIS development, and healthcare data management. PAY RATE: $66/hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Participate in Joint Application Design JAD, Rapid Application Development RAD, and Design Specifications Document DSD sessions to understand business requirements.
Develop, test, and implement SSIS Packages from development to production using package configuration.
Maintain and administer SSIS Jobs, Alerts, SQL Mail Agent, and scheduling for DTS/SSIS Packages.
Design and guide other developers on complex interfaces, providing technical leadership and debugging support.
Automate the execution of SSIS packages using SQL Server Agent Jobs.
Proactively engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance data processes and system performance.
Diagnose and resolve incident tickets and errors in a timely manner.
Develop ETL specifications, data mapping, and documentation required for ETL development.
Utilize SQL, data models, and schemas to perform business and data analysis.
Ensure data accuracy through rigorous quality assurance testing.
Support Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, End-to-End System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing UAT.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
9+ years of experience with SQL Server/MS-SQL scripting and SSIS.
Strong ability to build complex queries and reports using Microsoft SQL.
Proven analytical and data analysis skills using Microsoft SQL.
Previous experience leading teams, mentoring developers, and working with healthcare plan data claims, financial processing, eligibility, provider networks, MCO contracts, audits, and reporting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Experience with QNXT or FACETS Healthcare Payer Platforms.
Background in Healthcare IT, working with claims, member, and provider data.
Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality.
Ability to design and guide developers on complex interfaces with strong debugging skills.
