We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team as a Provider Services Call Center Agent in Baton Rouge, LA. In this role, you will assist healthcare professionals with inquiries related to Louisiana Medicaid, including billing requirements, policy clarifications, and other healthcare-related concerns. This position requires strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and the ability to navigate complex systems efficiently.
This role will involve handling high-volume inbound calls, resolving provider inquiries promptly and professionally, maintaining accurate call logs, and researching complex issues to provide timely solutions. You'll also collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals while maintaining confidentiality and complying with HIPAA regulations. This is a temporary 3-month assignment.

WORK SCHEDULE:
8:30 AM -5:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST
COMPENSATION:
$15.00- $16.00 Per Hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Handle high-volume inbound calls, providing knowledgeable support to address concerns from the provider community.
Meet and maintain quality and production standards by resolving 92% of calls from Medicaid providers within 3-5 minutes, ensuring contractual requirements are met.
Interact with providers in a professional and timely manner to assist with inquiries.
Accurately record calls in the call tracking system.
Collaborate with co-workers to achieve and maintain departmental objectives and goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Ability to work independently with little supervision and as a team player.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Maintain regular attendance based on the agreed-upon schedule.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
Capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment and retain information effectively.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Required Experience:
1-2 years of Call Center experience.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Experience:
Medicaid experience.
Medical Claims experience.
