We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) Developer to lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise middleware applications. This role requires deep technical expertise across Oracle SOA Suite, WebLogic Server, Spring Boot, and related Java frameworks, with strong experience in security integration, CI/CD pipelines, and performance tuning. You are an expert in developing scalable enterprise solutions that support critical business processes, and who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative team environment. Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and DevOps toolchains is a strong plus.

WORKSITE: Remote (San Diego, CA)
PAY RATE: $65/hour
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, core business hours PT (occasional evening or weekend patching/maintenance windows as required)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Design and implement enterprise middleware solutions using Oracle SOA Suite components (BPEL, Mediator, OSB, Human Workflow) and ADF framework to support integration between critical business systems.
Develop microservices and APIs using Spring Boot (2.7+) and advanced Java (versions 8-21), ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Administer and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server (12c and 14c) including patching (OPatch, PSU), domain configuration, clustering, and performance tuning.
Integrate identity and access management systems using Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), Oracle Access Manager (OAM), LDAP/Active Directory, and enable Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality.
Support automated CI/CD processes using Maven, SVN, Jenkins, and scripting tools to ensure efficient build, test, and deployment workflows.
Monitor system health and application performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), analyzing logs and metrics to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, DBAs, security analysts, QA engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful system implementations and secure operations.
Document system configurations, development standards, and deployment procedures for internal knowledge sharing and audit readiness.
Provide technical leadership on middleware architecture and mentor junior developers on best practices and standards.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
8+ years of professional experience in Java-based enterprise application development, including expert-level knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite, ADF, and Spring Boot frameworks.
Extensive experience with WebLogic Server administration, including tuning, patching, security policy management, and troubleshooting in production environments.
Strong understanding of application security integration, including SSO, OIM/OAM, and directory services such as LDAP and Active Directory.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Git, Maven, Jenkins, and scripting for CI/CD automation.
Proficiency in log analysis and performance diagnostics, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in large, distributed systems.
Experience working in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments is highly desirable.
Familiarity with enterprise database tools and environments, including SQL Developer, TOAD, and Microsoft SQL Server 2022.
Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and ability to work both independently and as part of a distributed technical team.
Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical solutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.
