Join our team as an IT - Field Service Technician 2 in San Diego, CA! In this hands-on role, you'll be the go-to expert supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and network systems while working directly with end users. You'll diagnose and resolve technical issues, collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, and keep business operations running smoothly. WORKSITE: 15231 Ave of Science, San Diego
WORK SCHEDULE: Onsite, San Diego, CA (authorized overtime reimbursed)
PAY RATE: $25.00 -$28.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Work on a rotational schedule to resolve user issues for PCs, desktops, laptops, peripherals, network printers, mobile devices, telecom, and email services
• Provide technical support to both walk-in customers and scheduled service requests. • Diagnose and resolve complex software and hardware issues.
• Use incident management tools such as ServiceNow, HP Service Manager, Remedy, or CA Service Desk.
• Support remote users via connectivity tools and troubleshoot VPN/RAS connections.
• Assist with patching OS, troubleshooting Microsoft patches, software deployments, group policies, and antivirus issues.
• Provide expertise in Windows OS, Active Directory, DNS, Proxy Services, and Microsoft Office 365.
• Troubleshoot corporate email systems (Exchange, .pst, .ost, Archives). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Networking, Unix, Wintel) to resolve problems.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and effectively work in multicultural environments.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• CompTIA A+ Certification or higher Computer education degree.
• Minimum of 5 years IT field experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in incident management tools and remote connectivity troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and provide outstanding customer service
