This is a senior-level role designed for a professional with proven, global experience moving critical renewable infrastructure transformers and electrical equipment to complex multi-order shipments across borders and through intricate logistics challenges.
You are a strategic problem solver and trusted advisor who has "been there, done that" at the highest levels of renewable energy deployment. You will serve as a visible leader who can design solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and help organizations expand their renewable practices with confidence.
You are a Swiss Army knife professional, comfortable with technology, supply chain, and executive-level strategy. Recognized in the industry as "best of the best" with the credibility to lead billion-dollar projects and excels in high-pressure, ambiguous situations, bringing clarity and solutions where others see barriers
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead supply chain strategy, planning, and execution for large-scale renewable projects (utility-scale solar, storage, grid modernization, etc.).
- Manage global logistics and customs operations, ensuring smooth movement of critical equipment across international borders.
- Serve as the go-to problem solver for shipping, compliance, and equipment delivery challenges.
- Partner with internal executives and client stakeholders to design solutions for high-stakes, "tricky" problems.
- Act as a trusted industry advisor, providing insight into renewable energy supply chain trends, risks, and best practices.
- Represent the organization as a subject matter expert in renewable supply chain operations.
- Contribute to business growth and practice expansion by showcasing expertise, building credibility, and strengthening client relationships.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 15+ years of experience in global supply chain management, with a strong focus on renewable energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure.
- Proven success in moving large-scale equipment (transformers, electrical systems, energy storage, etc.) across borders.
- Deep knowledge of customs regulations, international trade, shipping logistics, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to balance technical understanding of renewable technologies with strategic supply chain management.
- Demonstrated experience as a trusted problem solver for complex, high-value projects.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite leaders and external partners.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (Engineering, Supply Chain, or related).
