This role provides strategic leadership for enterprise data operations, performance measurement, and analytics governance-driving accuracy, insight, and value across the organization.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday–Friday, standard business hours (PST preferred). Flexibility may be required to accommodate cross-functional team collaboration.
PAY RATE:
$85.00 - $90.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead Data Operations: Oversee aggregation, transformation, and validation workflows to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across analytic environments.
Drive Performance Measurement: Manage the end-to-end calculation, review, and reconciliation of KPIs and quality measures across multiple domains.
Develop Analytical Frameworks: Design reproducible data models, standardized calculation templates, and automated reporting pipelines using SQL, Python, and modern analytics platforms.
Enforce Data Governance: Define and implement validation checkpoints, version control, and business rules while maintaining audit-ready documentation and data dictionaries.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with business, engineering, and analytics teams to align on data specifications, resolve discrepancies, and deliver data products that inform strategy.
Generate Insights: Produce executive dashboards, trend reports, and variance analyses to identify key performance drivers and improvement opportunities.
Mentor and Lead: Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and train analysts and engineers to strengthen analytic consistency and capability.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
12+ years of enterprise data analytics, reporting, or healthcare performance measurement experience.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and large-scale data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks).
Proven expertise in data validation, multi-source integration, and performance metric development.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present to both executive and technical audiences.
Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Demonstrated leadership managing teams and complex analytic initiatives.
Experience working in regulated, data-intensive healthcare environments.
