Description

FortunaBMC, a Veteran-Owned Business, is dedicated to empowering Military Veterans and Military Spouses by connecting them to rewarding careers in the IT industry. We value the discipline, adaptability, and unique skills that veterans and military families bring to the workforce.

This initiative spans eight key IT categories, including Software Development, Cybersecurity, Data Science & Analytics, Network & System Administration, IT Support & Help Desk, Database Management, Product & Project Management, and Cloud Computing. Some positions within these categories are specifically designed for entry-level or new career candidates, providing an excellent starting point for those transitioning into the IT field or building upon foundational technical skills.

This posting is not tied to a single role, the goal is to connect with highly motivated IT professionals to create a ready bench of candidates for upcoming technical projects.

WORKSITE: Various Locations (Remote, Hybrid, and Onsite roles available based on project)

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, standard business hours or project-dependent schedules

COMPENSATION: Competitive hourly rates based on experience and skillset; W2 or 1099 arrangements available

  • Active or transitioning service members with a background in information technology
  • Military spouses with professional IT experience and availability for remote or hybrid assignments

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Military IT training (MOS, AFSC, NEC) or certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.
  • Active Security Clearance (if applicable)
  • Proven adaptability, problem-solving skills, and mission-driven mindset
