The IBM FileNet Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining document management solutions using IBM FileNet technology, hosted on AWS infrastructure. This role requires a professional who can collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop robust technical solutions, and implement document management applications that meet organizational goals.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, document management systems, and expertise in the IBM FileNet platform. Excellent technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset are critical for success in this role.
WORK SCHEDULE: Must be available to work during West Coast hours. Potential Start Date: December 16, 2024.
WORK SITE: Remote and travel as needed to Sacramento, CA.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for document management solutions.
- Design and architect document management applications using IBM FileNet technology.
- Develop custom components, workflows, and integrations within the IBM FileNet platform.
- Configure and customize IBM FileNet components to address specific business needs.
- Establish and maintain document management policies, security controls, and access permissions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure solution quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IBM FileNet applications and integrations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and testers, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, best practices in document management systems, IBM FileNet advancements, and AWS infrastructure trends.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Extensive experience with IBM FileNet technology, including design, development, and integration.
- Strong background in software development and document management systems.
- Proficiency in AWS infrastructure and services.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring junior team members is a plus.
