The Senior Manager, IT Operations, is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all IT system functions that support business operations, from development through ongoing maintenance. This role requires not only strong technical expertise but also exceptional communication skills to collaborate across departments and with senior leadership. You will demonstrate the ability to create, analyze, and modify detailed reports and documentation to support decision-making and compliance. In addition, strong project management skills are essential to successfully plan, implement, and deliver complex IT initiatives on time and within scope, while continuously driving workflow improvements and system reliability.
WORKSITE: Hybrid- On-site requirement in Rancho Cordova
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time with shifts from 6 am to 6 pm.
HIRING TYPE: Direct Hire Opportunity
PAY RATE: $125,000 - $135,000.00
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Supervise system operations to meet milestones, deliverables, and performance standards.
Lead IT teams across Software Development, Network Engineering, Desktop Support, Telephony, Security, and Server Management.
Manage testing and implementation of all new software and enhancements related to payment processing and data capture.
Deliver enhancements and monitor their effectiveness, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Develop workflow improvements with clear documentation, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
Identify, implement, and assess process enhancements, reporting on opportunities and outcomes.
Oversee automated collection and dissemination of statistical information related to payment processing.
Investigate and resolve system errors, driving continuous improvement and reducing error rates.
Provide updates and status reports to senior management.
Lead new project analysis and implementation, ensuring a smooth transition to operations staff with proper documentation.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Minimum 2 years of experience with Windows networking (Active Directory, group policies, security groups, roaming profiles).
Strong troubleshooting skills for large- and small-scale server and PC hardware/software.
Proficiency with Microsoft desktop applications (Windows, MS Office) and server-based applications (IIS, MSSQL, DNS, DHCP, FTP).
Strong understanding of LAN/WAN (TCP/IP) networking standards and configuration.
Knowledge of physical network wiring (CAT5/6, Fiber).
Ability to coordinate technical tasks with off-site personnel to meet time-sensitive project deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
Experience in vendor relations, customer service, and personnel management.
VoIP phone system experience.
Understanding of web-based applications (Intranet and Internet).
Experience with web programming.
Background in Linux/Unix administration, ASP and VB programming, high-volume printing/scanning systems, or MS Access programming/administration.
