We are seeking a Workday Functional Consultant with strong experience bridging both technical and functional responsibilities. This role supports a large non-profit organization in the Los Angeles area and requires deep understanding of Workday capabilities, ERP implementation best practices, and financial operations. Ideal candidates will be Workday-certified, have public-sector or non-profit ERP deployment experience, and be located on or willing to work West Coast hours.
US Citizenship or Green Card required.

WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time, Monday–Friday (Standard Pacific Time Work Hours required)
PAY RATE
$85.00 - $90.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Serve as a Workday subject matter expert, bridging functional and technical requirements
Partner with finance and operations teams to understand business processes and translate them into Workday functionality
Configure, enhance, and troubleshoot Workday modules supporting financial operations
Support end-to-end ERP implementation activities, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
Recommend system improvements and functional process optimizations based on best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders within a large non-profit organization
Provide guidance on Workday capabilities, integrations, and operational constraints
Support data validation, system testing, and user training activities
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Workday certification strongly preferred (Finance, HCM, or related modules)
5+ years of ERP implementation experience; public sector or non-profit experience highly desirable
Strong understanding of financial operations, accounting processes, and organizational workflows
Ability to translate functional needs into Workday system configuration and enhancements
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability
West Coast location or ability to work PST hours
