The Stakeholder Engagement and Execution Leader will play a pivotal role in advancing LADWP's organizational readiness, performance improvement, and roadmap implementation initiatives. This position requires exceptional executive presence, facilitation, and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholder groups, including executive leadership, labor unions, and community organizations ensure progress transparency to the City Council and the Mayor.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Duration: January – August 2026
PAY RATE:
$90.00 -$110.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Lead stakeholder facilitation and engagement across multi-party groups, including LADWP leadership, City Council, unions, and community-based organizations.
Develop and execute actionable roadmaps and tailored job aids aligned with organizational goals and performance improvement strategies.
Produce executive-level presentations, metrics, and reports for executive management, City Council, and the Mayor to track milestone progress.
Deliver clear, data-driven dashboards showing where LADWP is on/off track toward defined goals.
Consult with Board leadership, LADWP executives, IBEW Local 18, and other labor unions throughout the roadmap development process to ensure stakeholder alignment.
Incorporate feedback following review of draft reports and implementation plans.
Provide support and knowledge transfer documentation to ensure ongoing implementation after engagement completion.
Develop an organizational readiness plan and guide LADWP teams in adopting performance tracking and execution strategies.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Based in the Los Angeles area.
Proven executive presence and ability to communicate with senior leadership, elected officials, and community stakeholders.
Experience facilitating complex stakeholder discussions and producing executive-level deliverables (presentations, metrics, and reports).
Strong background in both strategy and implementation across multiple organizational types.
Prior experience in water utilities, energy/power utilities, or related regulatory or public service sectors.
Demonstrated ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups: board members, executive leaders, unions, and operational staff.
Established relationships with LADWP and/or LA City Council are a plus.
