Job Overview:
Join our team as an IAM Engineer, where you'll specialize in implementing and managing cutting-edge Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Okta, ForgeRock, and Ping Identity. In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise to design, integrate, and secure IAM systems for a seamless user authentication and authorization experience.
WORKSITE: REMOTE POSITION, PST HOURS
Business hours: 8-5 PST, need to be on-call for incidents and outages during offline days/hours
COMPENSATION:
$60.00- $65.00 Per Hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As an IAM Engineer, you will:
- Drive Expertise: Implement and manage Okta (SSO, MFA, Workflows), ForgeRock (OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ, OpenIG), and Ping Identity (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory) platforms.
- Ensure Security: Utilize authentication protocols such as OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, and Kerberos to deliver secure and reliable systems.
- Develop Custom Solutions: Leverage programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, Groovy, and PowerShell for automations, customizations, and integrations.
- Integrate Seamlessly: Build integrations with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), on-premises systems, and SaaS applications.
- Leverage APIs: Extend and enhance platform functionalities using RESTful APIs.
- Federate Identities: Apply identity federation principles to enable secure user access across various domains and organizations.
- Adhere to Standards: Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC2, while maintaining high security standards with SSL/TLS, PKI, and encryption technologies.
- Collaborate Efficiently: Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, train stakeholders, and drive innovation.
- Employ DevOps: Utilize tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform for effective deployments and automation.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Core Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in managing IAM platforms such as Okta, ForgeRock, and Ping Identity.
- Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, and Kerberos).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Security and Compliance:
- Expertise in security protocols and adherence to compliance standards.
Cloud & DevOps Knowledge:
- Experience managing identities in hybrid and cloud environments.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified Professional, ForgeRock Identity Management Specialist, or Ping Identity Certified Professional are highly preferred.
