We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Document Migration Tester to support a NextGen Document Management System (DMS) initiative. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and validating large-scale document and metadata migrations from legacy, on‑premises DMS platforms to IBM FileNet hosted in AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in ETL and migration testing, data validation, and cloud-based document systems, with a strong focus on data accuracy, integrity, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Must be a US citizen or a green card holder.
This position requires traveling to Sacramento to complete a Live Scan as a function of the onboarding process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design and develop comprehensive migration testing strategies, test plans, scenarios, and scripts to validate document and metadata migrations from legacy DMS platforms to IBM FileNet in AWS.
Execute migration test cases across all phases, including initial data loads, incremental loads, reconciliation, and final pre–go-live validation.
Validate data accuracy, completeness, integrity, and consistency across source systems and AWS-based target environments.
Develop and execute SQL queries and automated scripts to compare source and target datasets and identify discrepancies.
Perform ETL testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing for document and data pipelines.
Identify, document, and track defects related to migration, ETL processes, and data quality; collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues and validate fixes.
Conduct data profiling, transformation validation, and reconciliation between legacy systems and AWS S3 storage.
Ensure compliance with document retention policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the migration lifecycle.
Partner with DMS application, infrastructure, and migration teams to configure and maintain test environments that closely mirror production.
Identify migration risks, assess potential impacts, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Leverage AWS services and tools to support data validation, monitoring, and quality assurance.
Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage of large-scale data comparisons.
Document test processes, results, metrics, and defects; prepare and present test status reports, summaries, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ETL developers, data analysts, business analysts, and project stakeholders, to ensure testability, data quality, and successful delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of hands-on experience in ETL testing, data migration testing, and data quality assurance.
Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and large-scale data integration.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
Experience testing document management systems, preferably IBM FileNet.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments, including data validation involving AWS S3.
Expertise in data profiling, transformation validation, reconciliation, and quality assessment techniques.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG) is a plus.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and deliverables in complex migration programs.
