The Junior Java Developer will assist with maintaining and supporting enterprise Java applications within a secure federal technology environment. The developer will work with senior engineers to support mission-critical systems while gaining experience with enterprise application development and system integration. This role focuses on supporting established Java environments and assisting with incremental system improvements.
Candidates must hold an active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
WORK SITE: Remote
PAY RATE: $60.00 -$65.00 Per Hour
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Assist in maintaining enterprise Java applications
Develop application components using Java and related technologies
Support application testing, debugging, and issue resolution
Assist with database integrations and system updates
Participate in code reviews and development planning
Support documentation and development processes
Collaborate with senior engineers to implement system improvements
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–4 years of Java development experience
Familiarity with Java development frameworks
Basic experience with relational databases
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
